Delete your V Path Call Assistant account
How to delete your account for V Path Call Assistant, the call-screening app by V PATHing Enterprise LLC, and the data that goes with it.
How to request deletion
In the iPhone app: open Settings → Delete account, read what it deletes, and choose. Delete now signs you out at once, deletes the account within 72 hours (usually within minutes), and we email you when it’s done. With a paid subscription you can instead delete it at the end of your paid period: you keep the service until then, the subscription doesn’t renew, nothing is refunded, and you can keep your account any time before that date in Settings.
By email: email support@vpathingenterprisellc.site from the email address you sign in with, with the subject “Delete my account”.
To make sure the request is really yours, we then send a confirmation code to your sign-in address. Reply with that code, and your account will be deleted within 72 hours of your reply. Nothing is deleted until you confirm.
Uninstalling the app does not delete your account.
What we delete
- Your account: your email address and name.
- Your assistant settings and the instructions you gave your assistant.
- Your assistant phone number(s). They are released and cannot be recovered.
- Your screened calls, voicemails, call recordings, transcripts and summaries.
- The notification tokens for your devices.
- The copies held by Twilio, our phone and text provider, of your recordings, of your calls, and of the texts sent to and from your assistant numbers, including the summaries texted to you from them.
If you have an active subscription, it is cancelled as part of the deletion, so you are not charged again. If your first subscription payment was made in the last 30 days, it is refunded in full, as under our 30-day money-back guarantee; renewal payments are not refunded.
What we keep
Some information stays after the deletion:
- Payment and billing records, such as invoices and payment history, which we must keep for tax and accounting purposes, generally for up to 7 years. These are held by our payment processor, Stripe, which also keeps its own records as its privacy policy describes. We never store your full card number.
- Texts already delivered to your phone.
- Copies in our database backups, which are deleted automatically within 60 days.
- Our server logs. They stay on our server and are cleared when we next update the service; older entries are overwritten as the logs reach their size limit.
- Records our providers hold for a limited time after we delete them. Twilio keeps the phone numbers on deleted call and text records for a minimum period it needs for carrier billing (120 days in its documentation) and deleted text content in its backups for up to 30 days. Resend, our email provider, keeps records of emails we sent you for 30 days. Our AI provider, Anthropic, deletes the call content we send it within 30 days, unless it is flagged for a usage-policy review.
- Summaries we texted you from our shared number, which we use only before an account has an assistant number of its own. They can’t be told apart from other customers’ messages to the same phone, so Twilio’s records of them stay for up to 13 months.
- Some call records at Twilio, such as calls handed off to your mobile and calls to a line that was not active.
- If you replied STOP to one of our texts, Twilio keeps that opt-out so you aren’t texted again.
Deleting some data without deleting your account
You can also ask us to delete specific data, such as particular call recordings, by emailing the same address from your sign-in email and saying what you want removed.
